Yuanhui joined the House group in October 2024 as a DPhil student under the co-supervision of Professor Sir Peter Bruce. His research focuses on the fundamental understanding and innovation of multivalent ion batteries, with particular emphasis on magnesium-ion battery cathode materials.

 

Prior to joining the group, Yuanhui obtained a BEng in Materials Engineering from McGill University. During his undergraduate studies, he worked on lithium-excess disordered rocksalt cathode materials under the supervision of Professor Jinhyuk Lee, as well as on electrochemical simulation projects under the supervision of Professor Kirk H. Bevan.
