Research

Picture6.png

Our research centres on cathode materials for Li-ion, Na-ion and multivalent batteries, with an emphasis on developing and understanding new chemistries based on earth-abundant elements. We combine targeted materials synthesis with advanced characterisation and electrochemical testing to explore performance, stability and reversibility in complex cathode systems. Through this approach, we aim to inform the design of sustainable energy storage materials for future rechargeable battery technologies.
