Multivalent Ion Cathodes
Our work on multivalent cathodes explores how structure and chemistry govern the intercalation of multivalent ions, identifying both fundamental challenges and promising design strategies for next-generation multi-valent battery materials.

Mg-rich disordered rocksalt oxide cathodes for Mg-ion batteries
This work investigates Mg-rich disordered rocksalt oxide cathodes (Mg₂TMO₃ with TM = Mn, Ni, Co) as potential intercalation hosts for Mg²⁺ in high-energy magnesium-ion batteries, highlighting that conventional design rules from Li-rich systems do not directly translate to Mg-rich analogues.
