Yerim joined the House Group in October 2025 as a DPhil student, under the co-supervision of Professor Katharina Tinka Marquardt. Her research focuses on understanding and controlling the microstructure of next-generation cathode materials, with particular emphasis on lithium-rich NMC materials. 

 

Prior to joining the group, Yerim graduated from University College London (UCL) with an MSci in Chemistry in 2025. Her Part II research project, supervised by Professor Jawwad Darr, studied the enhancement of oxygen redox cathode materials through multi-cation doping strategies.
