Mingzhi joined the House group in Feb 2024 as a postdoctoral research assistant. His research interests focus on understanding and regulating the nature of oxygen redox in beyond Li-ion batteries.

Before joining the group, Mingzhi received his PhD degree in Inorganic Chemistry from Peking University (2023), where his research focused on surface modification on the high-voltage layered Li-ion cathodes. Prior to that, he obtained his bachelor degree in Chemistry (2018) from Xiamen University.
